Devil's Den Close to Hell

The area of Devils Den and the thickets and bramble patches and boulders and rocky crevices

of the area saw hellish pitched fighting.

Making for massive numbers of wounded and dead men.

When this confrontation stopped the Rebels occupied the mass of ancient rocks. It truly was

the Devil’s Den because for many it was very near hell!
