Lottie Moon Confederate Spy
Cynthia Charlotte {Lottie} Moon was a force to be reckoned with, the daughter of Robert Moon a man descended of English earls and Virginia pioneers heritage. She was a fiery young woman who was one to speak her mind at the drop of a hat, a beguiling beauty with eyes of both blue and gray certainly befitting a chameleon who would play her part in the Civil War as a true Copperhead in the Ohio theater of intelligence work.
The next posts will be about the famous Southern Belle, actress, and cunning Copperhead spy of the war.
This coming series of posts will be about women and the American Civil War.
