A picture should be forming in your mind as to the wealth from opium and its destinations.
In the last quarter of the nineteenth Century many opium exporters were forced out of the trade by Jewish competition by 1900 the opium trade was almost exclusively operated by a Jewish monopoly. According to various sources, the opium epidemic had grown to include some 25,000,000 opium addicts in China alone. In 1907 in Bengal and the United provinces supposedly had over one thousand acres producing some 3600 tons of opium to be exported to the addicts in China.
In 1908 Teddy Roosevelt choose to address the problem which led to the Hague International Opium Convention in 1912. That still did no stop the problem, in 1919 the last opium was transported.
The Baghdadi Jews by this time had amassed huge fortunes from the exportation of the so called most addictive drug know to mankind., Opium.
I will move this discussion toward the importation of opium in to America in the next posts.
