Say What Indian Drums

The young lady walked leisurely down through the Triangular Field taking in the sights and sounds of the area snapping photos and just enjoying the visit to the National Park.
She did not hear any odd sounds nor see anything out of the ordinary as the young girl
walked back up the field she could see that her mother was very excited as soon as she neared her mother, she excitedly asked if she had the the native drums and chants just moments before! Looking at her mother as though she had flipped her lid, she said of course not why would there be Indian sounds? The duo left the area and when the young lady began doing some research she then learned of the Native American presence that had once been in the area. The spirits that exist on the battlefield are co-mingled with many phases of the past. The story is that there is an area known as the Indian fields and it is still a controversy whether an ancient battle took place their between tribes or whether this was a large Native American Camp.
As you visit the battlefield try to imagine Indians being in the area especially Devil's Den and the various springs that exist in the area.

I hope you enjoyed this tale of Gettysburg1

Happy Trails
