Howdy to all my Civil War Friends.

Wanted to touch base with you about the fact that The New Gettysburg Civil War Museum and Visitors Center is slated to open September 26th, 2008.
The Cyclorama Painting has been restored and will once again be able to be enjoyed in all its Glory.

Please try to get to see the new facility located near the Battlefield.

Some other news The Anniversary of the Bloody clash that took place at Antietam is rapidly approaching on September 13,14,15. That actual Battle date was the 17th of September 1862. December 6th,  2008 will be the date to visit Antietam for the awe inspiring luminary of 23,000 flickering lights to commemorate the loss of the souls lost on that fated day.
